Even as the controversy surrounding NEET 2026 continues following the exam’s cancellation over an alleged paper leak and an ongoing CBI investigation, fresh concerns have emerged online. Several Telegram channels are reportedly claiming to offer access to “Re-NEET question papers” and “guaranteed scores” in exchange for large sums of money.
An application has been submitted to Ahmedabad Cyber Crime Police seeking an inquiry into these channels. The complaint urges authorities to determine whether the operators actually possess confidential examination material or are running a sophisticated scam targeting anxious students and parents ahead of the Re-NEET examination scheduled for June 21.
According to reports, the network operates through multiple Telegram groups that frequently change their names and often allow entry only through referrals. These channels allegedly advertise Re-NEET question papers for amounts ranging from Rs 60,000 to Rs 1 lakh. Some operators have reportedly gone a step further, promising scores of more than 620 marks out of 700 in return for payments as high as Rs 20 lakh.
“You have to pay a token amount of Rs 50,000 and meet our boss personally in our Bengaluru office. On the day of the exam, leave the OMR sheets empty. We have a setting with the key agencies and will ensure that right answers are filled and students get a 620-plus score.
Total charge will be Rs 20 lakh,” a channel operator on Telegram told reporter who was posing as a parent of a NEET aspirant.
