Special Musical Evening Featuring ‘Hits of Kalyanji-Anandji and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’
To mark the 18th anniversary of Swartarang Music Academy, a special musical programme titled ‘Hits of Kalyanji-Anandji and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy’ has been organized on Monday, June 15, at 6:30 PM at Sai Sabhagruha, Shankar Nagar.
The programme will take music lovers on a melodious journey through the evergreen songs of legendary music composer duo Kalyanji-Anandji and the chart-topping compositions of the contemporary trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, who have given a new direction to modern Indian film music. Students of Swartarang Music Academy, along with the academy’s mentor Niranjan Bobde, will perform a variety of popular songs.
The concept of the programme has been developed by Niranjan Bobde, and the active participation of the academy’s students is expected to add a special charm to the event. The programme is being supported by RAI Builders and Johnson Lifts & Escalators.
The event is free of charge, and entry will be permitted through passes only. Passes will be available from 5:00 PM on June 14 at Scientific Hall, Laxmi Nagar. Swartarang Music Academy has appealed to music enthusiasts to attend the programme in large numbers and enjoy the musical celebration.
