Stung by repeated paper leak controversies that have severely dented its credibility, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a specialised digital training programme — ‘Pariksha Karmayogi: Capacity Building Programme for Examination Officials’ — aimed at making national-level examinations more transparent, secure and reliable.
The move follows the NEET paper leak episode that triggered widespread outrage among students and parents across the country and deepened public distrust in the examination system.
The self-paced online course targets centre superintendents, observers and other officials involved in conducting NEET (UG) and other NTA examinations. Divided into four modules, the programme covers exam planning, security protocols, adherence to standard operating procedures and day-of-examination responsibilities. Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the assessment.
The initiative aims to bring uniform procedures across examination centres nationwide, improve operational efficiency and strengthen accountability at every level. NTA said the programme, driven by technology-based training and skilled manpower, would give fresh impetus to its efforts to rebuild confidence in the national examination ecosystem.
