Low-cost carrier IndiGo has further reduced its direct flight services between Nagpur and Bengaluru as part of its seasonal schedule changes during the monsoon.
The airline, which operates India’s largest domestic network, has temporarily scaled back services on several routes due to higher aviation turbine fuel (ATF) prices and an expected dip in passenger demand during the lean travel season. Nagpur has been among the cities affected by these reductions.
Currently, IndiGo operates three direct flights from Nagpur to Bengaluru, departing at 10.25 am, 7.35 pm and 9.10 pm. The airline also operates three return flights from Bengaluru to Nagpur, arriving at 9.35 am, 7.05 pm and 8.30 pm.Until May, IndiGo was operating five daily flights in each direction on the Nagpur–Bengaluru route, offering greater flexibility for travellers.
The reduced schedule is expected to inconvenience IT professionals, students and business travellers who frequently travel between the two cities.Earlier, Air India Express had also suspended its morning flight on the route. However, those services are expected to resume next month.
