Inter School Sanskrit Competition in BKVV

Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar school stepped into seventh successful year of its tradition by organizing the Inter School Sanskrit Competition on Saturday, 15th December, 2018. With the blessings of Adiguru Shankaracharya Bharti Krishna Teerthji Maharaj and Padmashree Late Dr.Vikram Marwah, the pious land of Vishwa Punar Nirman Sangh was reverberated with the chanting of shlokas.

This year Patriotic Group Song Competition was organized for Junior Group (Classes VI & VII) and Recitation of Nitishloka was held for Senior Group (Classes VIII to X). 130 students from 19 schools participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

The distinguished judges Dr.Snehlata Mule (Pingley), a Sanskrit scholar and Ms.Mrudula Kale, Sanskrit and Music Scholar along with Principal BKVV, Mrs.J.V.Nagalakshmidevi commenced the programme by lighting the auspicious lamp which was followed by Gurupaduka stotra rendered by the students of Primary section.

The prominent judges were welcomed by Vice Principal Mrs. Dipali Chakrabarty and Academic Supervisor Mrs.Bhavana Ghube with floral bouquet, shawl, and shreefal. Introduction of the judges were given by Mrs. Anjana Rai and Mrs.Saroj Sharma who later briefed about the rules of the competition.

Prior to the competition, the primary students enthralled the audience by rendering Saraswati Stotra under the able guidance of Mrs.Anjana Rai. Principal introduced Trustee Shree Vishwa Punarnirman Sangh, Col. A. B. Gurung the Chief Guest and briefed about various aspects of his personality.

Awe-inspiring and well-coordinated performances of the students impressed everyone. Judges applauded and encouraged the students as well as the teachers for their keen efforts. Mrs.Saroj Sharma announced the most awaited results and the prizes were distributed by all the dignitaries present on the dais.

In Junior group, the first position was secured by Ku.Jui Mishra, Ku. Dimple Deotale, Ku. Ramanpreet Kaur, Ku. Manaswi Lonare and Ku. Shreya Tripathi of Shri Guru Harikishan Public school.

The second position was secured by Ku. Rutuparna Bagde, Ku. Vibhisha Saoji, Mast. Shreyas Ghate, Ku. Nandita Ghagre and Ku. Aditi Rai of Bharti Krishna Vidya Vihar.

The third position was secured by Ku. Akshata Sawai, Ku. Ridhima Shaw, Ku. Radha Joshi, Ku. Diksha Aishani and Ku. Shreya Suchak of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Civil Lines and Mast. Agastya Sharma, Mast. Jatin Amesaur, Mast. Shubo Bera, Mast. Chaitanya Lambat and Mast. Aryan Nikam of Lalita Public School.

In Senior group, the first prize was bagged by Mast. Jyoaditya Nath of Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan, Ashti, the second prize was bagged by Ku. Smriti Purohit of Swami Narayan School and the third prize was shared by Ku.Sayli Madankar of Sanskar Vidya Sagar and Ku. Akanksha Shrivastava of Ira International school.

Mrs. Meghna Nagmote conducted the programme fluently in Sanskrit along with the students Ku. Juhi Dave and Mast. Aniruddha Muthal. Mrs. Sanjeevani Wankhede proposed the vote of thanks. Management appreciated the efforts of Principal, Vice Principal, Supervisors and teachers of Sanskrit Department for making the event successful.
