New Year Celebrations: Vidarbha Institute of Technology

New Year Celebration programme was organised by Vidarbha Institute of Technology recently. Students and the staff members enthusiastically took part in the event, by sharing their New Year resolutions. At this occasion, Principal, Dr. Sanjay S Uttarwar informed the students about the college winning Prime Global Education Excellence Award’18 and as well as NAAC Accreditation.

Annual Cultural Meet: Sree Narayana Vidhyalaya, Kanhan

An annual cultural meet was organised at Sree Narayana Vidhyalaya English Medium Pre- Primary and Primary School, Kanhan, recently. The students performed various cultural and folk dances, which enthralled the audience present at the event. Lighting of the lamp was done by the hands of Chairman, N Babu Nanan. A vote of thanks was proposed by Principal, Swati Deshbhratar, whereas Shital Pilley and Darshan Borkar hosted the programme. Principal Archana Yadav and team had worked really hard for the event. The efforts of the team were commended.

Blood Donation Camp: J N Tata Parsi Girls High School.

NCC Cadets of 3 Maharashtra Girls BN had organised a blood donation camp at J N Tata Parsi Girls High School, recently. The main motive of the event was to spread the awareness of selflessness, humanity and social welfare, among the cadets. The camp was inaugurated by the hands of Dr. Harish Warbhe, Director of Life Line Blood Bank. Teachers and as well as parents voluntarily took part in the donation and donated 63 units of blood. The event was conducted under the guidance of Shanoor Mirza, Headmistress, Supervisor, Ragini D Deshraj and ANO Third Officer, Seema P Malpe.

Bhavan’s B P Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines: Winners of All India Science Teachers Association’s Inter School Elocution Competition

All India Science Teachers Association’s Inter School Elocution Competition was organised by St. Ursula Girl’s High School. Total number of schools that participated in the competition was 19.  Budding speakers of Bhavan’s B P Vidya Mandir, Civil Lines, not only took part in the competition but also excelled as the winners of the competition. The participant who bagged the 1st prize in junior Category was Vaishnavi Naidu, of STD VII, whereas, Nidhi Santani, STD X won 3rd   prize in the senior category. The students were awarded with a merit certificate and a trophy. Vijaya Pawar and Shilpi Dutta were the teachers in-charge.
