Opening batsman Nitin Patariya’s explosive century helped last year’s runners-up Lokmat to drub Punyanagari by a huge margin of 189 runs on the second day of Inter-Press Cricket Tournament being organised by Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur in association with OCW and State Bank of India at Vasant Nagar ground, here on Friday.
Lokmat won the toss and elected to bat first. They piled up a massive total of 269 for 5 in 20 overs. Thanks to Patariya, who slammed 108 in just 42 balls hitting 11 sixes and four boundaries.
