Subodh Ratnaparkhi hammered 89 runs as The Times of India (TOI) drubbed Dainik Bhaskar by 123 runs in 21st Inter-Press Cricket Tournament organised by the Sports Journalists’ Association of Nagpur (SJAN) in association with OCW and SBI at Ambedkar College ground, here on Saturday.

Batting first, TOI piled up 208 for 1 in 20 overs. Thanks to opener Ratnaparkhi, who slammed 89 hitting 12 boundaries and two sixes. Pratik Siddharth also sent the rival bowlers on leather hunt and knocked off unbeaten 63 with the help of six boundaries.

In reply, Dainik Bhaskar lost their wickets at regular interval and were bowled out for a paltry 85 in 18.5 overs. Only Mangesh Thakre (30) showed some resistance. For TOI, Faizul Qumar and Vinay Panday snared three wickets each. NDBA Vice-President CA Amit Bajaj gave man-of-the-match trophy to Subodh Ratnaparkhi.
