Commissioner of Police Dr Bhushan Kumar Upadhyay added another feather to his cap when he received a prestigious award on Saturday.
The Bureau of Police Research and Development, Government of Indian, New Delhi honoured the top city cop with a citation and a medal for his active participation in Micro Mission 2008 and for preparing the project ‘Review and Implementation of Rules and Process for the Internal Management of Prisons and Prisoners.’
Greetings and congratulatory messages started pouring in on Dr Upadhyay’s mobile phone from his relatives, colleagues, well-wishers, friends from the media and many others as the news of him receiving the award spread in the city.
