Mayor Ms Nanda Jichkar on Thursday performed bhoomipujan of Bamboo Upvan library at the campus of Panjabrao Deshmukh Agriculture University.
Chairperson; Women and Child Welfare Committee; NMC; Pragati Patil, corporators Kishore Jichkar, Rupa Roy, Ujjwala Sharma, Ajju Chhabrani, Dilip Mohitkar, Pranay Parate, Ajay Taiwade, Milind Raut, Dnyaneshwar Kharat, Janmanch President Pramod Pande and Anusuya Chhabrani were prominently present on the occasion.
The Bamboo Upvan library being set up in Dharampeth Zone will prove beneficial to the local residents, hoped Ms Jichkar.
