The incidents of anti-social elements harassing women and children have been on the rise in the last few months in Mankapur area, alleged workers of Aam Admi Party (AAP) and submitted a memorandum of demands to Mankapur police station.

The AAP activists led by Subhadra Yadav alleged that incidents of eve-teasing have also increased in the area. However, the women do not dare report such incidents to the police and hence the cops are also unaware of these incidents. The AAP workers are ready to render all co-operation to the police in this regard. The police should increase patrolling to instill a sense of confidence and security among the common citizens of the area, the delegation demanded.
