Sree Ramadas Mission Universal Society of Thiruvananthapuram( Kerala) in collusion with Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), has organised a ‘Ramrajya Rathyatra’, from Rameswaram to Ayodhya. The Rathyatra will be arriving in Nagpur on March 14.

The yatra will commence from Chhatrapati Square to Ram Mandir, Ramnagar, at 5 pm on Thursday. From Nagpur, the yatra will proceed to Amravati and from Amravati to Parbhani, Nagar, Pune, Panvel, Ramgiri, Borivali and will later enter Gujarat.

‘Ramrajya Rathyatra’ was taken out from Rameswaram on March 4, under the guidance of Swami Krishnanand Saraswati and is led by Shrishakti Shantanand Maharshi. The procession will pass through 12 states, covering a distance of 9000 kms, and will reach Ayodhya on April 14.

According to the sources, the yatra has been taken out with five objectives namely restoration of ‘Ramrajya’, inclusion of epic Ramayana in Indian school curriculum, construction of a Ram Mandir at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, declaring country wide weekly holiday on Thursdays, and declaring World Hindu Diwas.

As per the information available, Sree Ramdas Mission Universal Society is planning to organise a similar Rathyatra in 2020 and 2021. Previously, it was taken out in the year 1991, from Kerala, 2010 from Maharashtra and from Karanataka in 2015.

S.S.N Nair has appealed to the devotees to take part in the march in large numbers.
