Antaragini concludes at G H Raisoni College of Engineering

G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering, Nagpur organized its much anticipated and happening annual festival celebrated with the theme titled “Enroute India”for Antaragni, Technorion and Parakram 2019, a national level event held under central India’s premier flagship institute in which many activities were conducted, at GHRCE campus.

This grand event was inaugurated with Shivaji jayanti celebration. Professor, VNIT, Nagpur, Dr. Dilip Peshwe, was the chief guest. Students performed various dance, lezium, lathikathi and also played a skit on Shivaji Maharaj’s life during the inaugural function of the programme.

Wall Painting, Face-Painting, Tower Making, Jump Jet, along with, technical programme like Hackathon, Concrete Block Making, Googler, Web Designing, Code Stumble, Robo Soccer, Logo Designing, Techno Hunt, Paper Presentation were held under Technorion.

Cultural events like, Inter Fashion Show, Classical and Folk Dance, Singing, Karaoke event were conducted on the second day of the event. The third day of the event was a theme based event. The theme was traditional day. The event concluded with a theme based dance, Intra Collegiate Fashion Show which was followed by the prize distribution ceremony.

Total 23 events were held under Antaragni, 36 under Technorion and 30 Indoor and outdoor sports activities under Parakram. Karaoke Event, Theme based dance, Junk Yard, Data Analytics Hackathon 2019, Robo-Block, Silent Disco, Sumo Wrestling, Technical Marathon, Wall Building, Web Designing, Contraption Competition dancing, singing, group dance, fashion show, skit, cricket, badminton, chess, carom, pool, table tennis and many more event were conducted, wherein more than 3933 students participated and more than 300 students other than parent institute had also participated in the event.

The annual fest concluded with a celebrity night for the students at G H Raisoni, Hariganga Campus in which renowned Playback singer Darshan Raval was invited.

Harshal Nandanwar and Aniket Gupta were the winners for Website Designing Competition whereas, Krushna Deshmukh and Ankita Belani were the runner-ups.

The students of Mechanical department, final year received an extra ordinary response on their dance performance based on the theme “Kinnar” from the audience as well as from Director, GHRCE, Dr. Preeti Bajaj, and were awarded with a special trophy by the judges Professional actor, Choreographer for Zee TV/Colors TV, Hunny Khattar- and Asst Prof-Civil Engg, GHRCE Prof. Pooja Gadekar.

The winners and runner up of theme based dance were awarded with trophy and cash prizes. Apporva Nikhade, Shashank Ambekar won first prize in Robo-Block competition under Technorion 2K19 whereas, Pranav Dhanvijay, Pretik Dhanvijay stood second.

Nikhil Shivankar, Hrishikesh Bokardi, Prajwal Songalwe, Kunal Nimbalkar, Aniket Mandhe, Chaitanya Tol were the winning team of Box Cricket and Parag Kashyap, Adanat Rajput, Tanmay Yadav, Vikas Prajapati, Tanmay Kuthe, Jainam Belani were the Runner-up team.

Roshan Gupta from Priyadarshini College of Engineering was the winner of Robo Soccer competition and Gaurav Meshram from GHRCE was the Runner-up.

These events gave a platform to the students as they shared their talent in various forms. Dr. Director, GHRCE, Preeti Bajaj, took an initiative of the event.

The organizing team and members of Student Representative Council (SRC), along with Head Mech. Dept., Dr. R. S. Shelke, Dean SAC, Dr. K. K. Jajulwar, Dr. Atul Deshmukh, Gathering Secretary, Sakshi R. Jaiswal, and Ankit Agrawal worked hard for the success of the event.
