A human chain is an amalgamation of minds and hearts that are synchronized as one to show the strength of a purpose they are all committed to. When in India, we believe our Democracy is a Government for the people, of the people and by the people, and, when the Government finds that the people are completely opposed to the short-sighted mis- development plan proposed, it will throw light on whose interest is being served by the idea to destroy a forest? This is a chain that would tie up the faltering minds of the planners.
A union of hands by the citizens of Nagpur, is the strong barricade against the ill conceived thoughts of the planners. It is a show of strength of opposition to unsustainable development.
