GM Venkataraman to participate in Raisoni FIDE rating chess 

Grand Master Karthik Venkataraman will participate in the Kalpana Prakash Welfare Foundation organised “G H Raisoni Memorial All India FIDE Classical, Rapid & Blitz Rating Chess Tournament, beginning on May 19 at Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research, Deekshabhoomi, Laxmi Nagar.

IM’s Anup Deshmukh, Raunak Sadhwani, Ramesh VAV, Praveen Kuanar C, Chakraverthii Reddy and Anwesh Upadhyay will also try their luck in the said tournament.

According to a press release, more than 200 player in classical , more than 180 in rapid and more than 150 players in blitz format from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana,Guajrat, Chattisgarh, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh ,Tamil Nadu ,Odisha and entire Maharashtra are participating in this mega event.

Former MP Ajay Sancheti will inaugurate the 1 tournament in the presence of AICF vice-president Manoj Itkelwar Raisoni group PRO Amit Gandhare and NDCA President Dilip Kamdar at 9.30 a.m. followed by first round at 10 a.m.

With Such overwhelming response from all over the country , the organising chairman .Bhushan Shriwas has decided to wave off the latae Fee for the tournament.

The vice President of AICF Manoj Itkelwar, NDCA secretary K.K. Bara Dr. Nirzar Kulkarni of Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Management Studies and Research have extended their cooperation for the tournament. A recognized team of arbiters headed by International Arbiter . Swapnil Bansod will conduct and monitor the tournament.
