Housebreaking: Valuables worth Rs 87,000 stolen in Jaripatka

Unidentified burglars targeted a locked house under the jurisdiction of Jaripatka between Tuesday and Friday and fled with booty worth Rs 87,000.

Cops have booked unidentified miscreants under section 454, 457, 380 of IPC.

According to police sources, Rahul Shalikram Bhagat (42), resident of Nagarjuna Colony had gone for a family function in Amravati between May 14 and 17. In the meantime some burglars entered their house and decamped with cash, electron gadgets, gold and silver jewelry collectively worth Rs 87,000.

Booty worth 1.26 lakh stolen in Jaripatka

Valuables worth Rs 1.26 lakh were reportedly stolen from a house of Pandurang Manikram Humane (68), in Sanyal Nagar on Nari Road between Friday and Saturday.

Jaripatka police have booked unidentified burglars under section 454, 457, 380 of the IPC.

According to police sources, complaint had gone to Imamwada between the intervening night of Friday and Saturday when some miscreants broke into his house and fled with cash, gold and silver jewelry collectively worth Rs 1.26 lakh.

Burglars decamped with valuables worth Rs 2.10 lakh in Koradi

Koradi police have booked unidentified miscreants for breaking into a house in Murlidhar Housing Society and stealing cash Rs 1.5 lakh besides gold and silver jewelry between May 12 and 18.

Cops have registered offence against unidentified burglars under section 454, 457, 380 of IPC.

According to police sources, complainant Balra Bakaram Sonwane (48), resident of Murlidhar Housing Society, Om Nagar had gone out of town, when some miscreants barged inside his house and decamped with cash, gold and silver jewelry collectively worth Rs 2.10 lakh.

40-year-old woman molested in Tehsil, one booked 

Tehsil police have rounded up a 46-year-old man for allegedly molesting a 40-year-old woman by holding her hands and forcing her to board on his bike on Saturday night.

Accused Raju Yashwant Chavhan, resident of Anjuman Urdu School has been booked under section 345(D) of IPC in this connection.

According to police sources, complainant was heading home on Saturday night when accused intercepted her way. Accused had first asked the survivor to share a word with him. However when the survivor denied, accused forcefully hold her hands and asked her to board on his bike.
