VIA,MIDC & DICCI to organise a workshop on “Industrial Fire Safety & Disaster Management”

Joint Coordination Committee consisting of Vidarbha Industries Association;  MIDC Industries Association; Butibori Manufacturer’s Association; Laghu Udyog Bharati  (Nagpur Vibhag); DICCI (Vidharbha Chapter), Nagpur; Kalmeshwar Industries MIDC Association, Kalmeshwar, Nagpur and CII Vidarbha Zonal Council, Nagpur in coordination with Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) are jointly organising a workshop on “Industrial Fire Safety & Disaster Management” on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 10:00 am to 1:45 pm at Udyam Sabhgruh, Udyog Bhawan, Civil Lines, Nagpur.

Speech by Guest of Honour, Jayant Moharkar, Addl Director of Industrial Safety & Health, Nagpur Division will address on “Health, Safety & Environment Management in Industries”.

Chief Guest of the function, Santosh S Warick, Chief Fire Officer & Fire Advisor, MIDC Mumbai will address on “Fire & Life Safety provisions under National Building Code of India 2016 & Maharashtra Fire Act 2006.”

Address by Special Invitee Sanjivan Joshi, Head Disaster Management of All India Institute of Local Self Govt. Mumbai on “Disaster Management for Business Continuity.”

To be followed by Open House Discussion and Question and Answers, Moderated by M G Funde, Retd. Dy. Chief Fire Officer.

Programme is prior registration only and open for members of the Associations, HR Professionals, Safety Incharge of the organizations, says a press note issued by Presidents of Joint Coordination Committee.
