Nagpur Cricket Academy (NCA) drubbed Deekshabhoomi Cricket Club by nine wickets to win the title in Inter-Club Under-12 Cricket Tournament organised by Reshimbagh Cricket Club at DD Nagar ground, here on Saturday.
Batting first Deekshabhooomi were all out for 64 in 17.1 overs. Thanks to Honey Jagyasi who claimed five wickets. Shlok Karosia, Agasta Gupta, Yashodhan Butey and Vivek Bishnoi got one wicket each. For Deekshabhoomi, Palash Khandekar and Vihan Gudaria scored 15 runs each.
In reply, NCA achieved the target by losing just one wicket in 10.4 overs. Saras Nerkar scored unbeaten 30 in the company of Sahil Panke (30).
Noted sports organiser Mohan Nahatkar, Dr Mangia distributed the prizes to the winners and runners-up. Honey Jagyasi was declared man-of-the-match. Dr Sanjay Deotale conducted the proceedings and also proposed a vote of thanks.
