Aarush Meshram clinched the cadet boys singles title in Shakti Club Open Ranking Table Tennis Tournament organised under the auspices of Nagpur District Table Tennis Association (NDTTA) at Shakti Club Hall, here on Monday. In the final, Meshram got rid of Aaditya Karandikar 11-8, 11-4, 11-3 in straight three sets. Earlier in the semis, Aarush eliminated Parth Kashyap 11-3,11-8whereas Aaditya downed Shlok Dayal 11-2,11-7. In the team championship event, Shakti ‘A’ blanked DNC ‘D’ to enter the final. Jayesh Kulkarni gave winning start to Shakti defeating  Yash Biswas 11-3,11-4,11-6.
In the second single, Yash Dhote downed Harshali Devgade 11-4,11-5,11-7. In the doubles,Vaibhav Rane duo turned the tables on Kaustubh Udar bt Yash – Harshali 11-4,11-5,11-7 to ensure the victory. In the second semi-final, Shakti ‘B’ Â recorded an easy 3-0 win over DNC ‘A’. Disha Girdhar gave 1-0 lead to Shakti ‘B’ defeating Akshay Lingayat 13-15,14-12,11-3,11-3. In the second single, Mayuri Deshmuih quelled the challenge of Neha Raut 8-11,7-11,11-9,11-6,11-5. In the doubles, Disha pairing with Mayuri overcame Akshay-Neha11-13,11-4,12-10,7-11,11-8.
