CA Kailash Jogani in support of castless society for a better future

CA Kailash Jogani an active member of Save Merit Save Nation group informed how the meritorious students raising the voice of Save Merit Save Nation group, are not against any cast or the reservation quota but are fighting for the rights to equality in education and job sector and oppose the rise in reservation quota from 50% to 78%.

Kailash said that “In earlier days the most common type of discrimination with people was due to illiteracy but now the time has changed. Everyone knows their basic need and are working hard to achieve a perfect life for living. The only thing which is keeping the reservation criteria alive is the political system purely for vote bank”.

Often we see that there is reservation in every sector name it Private IT sector or Government. But job is necessary for every individual as we are living in 21st century where other countries are developing at a faster rate but here we are still fighting over cast issues.

The objective of reservation quota was to enhance the living of people and to give all the rights in government as well as non-government schemes. Although now this has drastically changed, we see that many frequent amendments are passed to the government requesting for a special category reservation, sooner or later this will ignite to a new level crises and the open category will be the one to suffer the most with it, said kailash.

Speaking on the job scenario kailash said that we see many of our talented students are moving out of country because of lack of appropriate job options according to their qualification and less seats are available in institutes and colleges.

Shockingly, we are the one who have included reservation in every sector. We are losing these talented students and one day will come when this country will see a gradual decrease in the pace of development.

If we take a look in the exams which are held across country for students one will see that every institute has a certain seats reserved for the category people which is good but if those seats are empty or are available then they should be transferred for other deserving students.

“In Maharashtra the reservation quota has been increased to 78% in education and government jobs. One can imagine the amount of competition in such exams. Government should not include any kind of reservation quota in these exams for a fair and transparent selection process” he added.

Pointing out another option, Kailash suggested that the citizens can stand together for a castles society as this will lead us to be a developed country and all the fights on the basis of cast will be nullified and everyone will live in peace and harmony. If the reservation quota is included then every year the list of creamy layer must be updated, he added.

Kailash welcomes all to join and support the initiative ‘Save Merit Save Nation’ group so that every students and person gets an equal opportunity according to their capability.
