SNG teams record big wins

Host Shivaji Nagar Gymkhana (SNG) boys and girls teams continued their winning streak in the ongoing District-Sub Junior Basketball Tournament organised by SNG at its twin courts, here on Thursday.

SNG ‘A’ boys recorded one-sided 88-1 victory over new-entrant PDSA. SNG, playing on home turf dominated all the quarters 12-1, 18-0, 26-0, 32-0. Thanks to Sarthak Dhuldhule and Yash Mehta who netted 24 baskets each. In another match, ESKM blanked PKMB 30-0.
In the girls section, SNG ‘A’ outplayed NSCA 49-2. Gunjan Mantri top scored with 16 baskets for the winners.Results
Boys: SNG A ( Sarthak Dhuldhule 24 Yash Mehta 24 , Chitraksh Garge 22 ) bt PDSA ( Jignesh Motvani 01 ) 88-01 ( 12-01, 18-00, 26-00, 32-00);  ESKM ( Siddhesh B 12 , Nikhil V – 12 ) bt PKM B 30-00 ( 00- 10, 00-08, 00-06, 00-06 ); NKM ( Kuntal Wakde 8, Harshal Uikey 6) beat NYSS ( Parth tamholi 1) 22-1 ( 14-0, 4-1, 2-0, 2-0)

Girls: SNG A (Gunjan Mantri 16, Kanishka Mande 06) bt NSCA (Sayale Rangari 02) 49-02 ( 19-00, 12-00, 12-02, 06-00)
