CENSPORTS day 2 result

The three day inter-school sports meet CENSPORTS had commenced at Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass on the July 24, 2019. This year Gymnastics, Skating, Basketball and Lawn Tennis events are being conducted during the course of the CENSPORTS.

On its second day, i.e. July 25, 2019, the spirits of the players and the audience were at a high as quarterfinal and semifinal matches were played for Basketball and Lawn Tennis. The Gymnastics events were held simultaneously.  The girls’ and boys’ teams from 40 schools in the city had gathered at the venue to showcase their skills, enjoy the game and win it.

Basketball and Lawn Tennis final matches will be played tomorrow at the host school followed by the closing ceremony.

Basketball Day 2

U/16 Boys Basketball Result

  1. BVM Ashti beat Somalwar Nikalas by 33-20
  2. CPS Dabha beat Montfort school by 36-33
  3. CPS KR beat school of scholars by 26-18
  4. CPS WN beat shri dutta vidya mandir by 24-4
  5. First Semi-Final was played between CPS Dabha and CPS KR. The score was equal so extra time was given. CPS Dabha beat CPS KR by 32-30.
  6. Second Semi-Final – BVM Ashti beat CPS WN by 18-10

U/16 Girls Basketball Result 

  1. BVM Trimurti Nagar beat BVM Shrikrishna Nagar by 24-6
  2. CPS Dabha beat Jain International by 24-0
  3. CPS WN beat Mount Litera by 16-4
  4. CPS KR beat BVM Ashti by 18-2
  5. First Semi-Final – BVM Trimurti Nagar beat CPS Dabha by 14-4
  6. Second Semi-Final – CPS KR beat CPS WN by 12-6

First Semi Final:  Centre Point School, Katol Road gets walk over against Sandipani Hazari Pahad.

Second Semi Final  :  Centre Point School, Wardhaman Nagar beat Centre Point Dabha by 2-1.

First Singles – Mahek Kanungo lost to Riya Chandak by 2-6

Second Singles  -  Riyanshi Kedia beat Sanskruti Salunkhe by 6-3

Doubles  -  Riyanshi Kedia +  Mahek Kanungo beat Riya Chandak + Sanskruti Salunkhe by 6-3

U/17 BOYS

Centre Point School Dabha beat Centre Point School Wardhaman Nagarby 2-0

First Singles  -  Tanay Somani beat Jainam Jain by 6-1

Second Singles  -  Achintya Verma beat Hidesh Mahiyar by 6-0

Second Semi Final  -  Centre Point School, Katol Road beat BVM Ashti by 2-1

First Singles  -  Amay Dhanwatay beat Suyog Itankar by 6-0

Second Singles  -  Vansh Patodia lost Vishad Nandeshwar by 0-6

Doubles -  Amay Dhanwatay + Shivansh Tapadia beat Suyog Itankar + Vishad Nandeshwar by 6-2
