The Student Council of Centre Point School, Katol Road for 2019-20 was sworn-in on July 06, 2019, marking the beginning of another academic session and Inter House Competitions under a new leadership. Although the rains threatened to play spoilsport, it could not dampen the spirit of the incumbent team.
Anagha Mishra, explained the democratic procedure of the formation of the school cabinet and Delnaaz Kapoor, the Vice Principal declared the names of the 30 members of the Student Council and enumerated their achievements. The House Incharges were also introduced. These include Blue House:-Sunitha Ananthambal, Green House –Sonali Dey, Red House –Shalini Agrawal and Yellow House: –Snehal Khobragade.
Jui Jagtap, was sworn-in as the School Captain and Anushka Subramanian was sworn-in as the School Vice Captain. The Blue House Captain is Yaashna Singhania and the Vice Captain is Dhruv Gattani. The Green House will be led by the House Captain Gulmehak Kaur Khurana and Ishita Rathi as the Vice Captain. The Red House Captain is Aadvik Bhatia and the Vice Captain is Jagruti Jani. Spearheading the Yellow House is the Captain Ishita Chadha assisted by the Vice Captain Krishna Sehgal.
The captains, vice captains and prefects received their sashes and badges at the hands of the teachers. The outgoing captains and vice captains handed over the flags to the newly inducted captains. The council members were a picture of solemnity as they donned the mantle of responsibility and took the oath to put duty before self. The parents of these deserving office bearers witnessed their swearing-in.
