CENSPORTS 2019-20 concludes

Centre Point School, Amravati Road and Katol Road have been declared as the winners of the CENSPORTS 2019-2020. The three-day sports bonanza, CENSPORTS 2019-2020, concluded with a grand closing ceremony today, at the host school, Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass.

Around 40 schools from the city had participated in this event which was high on passion for the game, excitement and the spirit of sportsmanship.

The Lawn Tennis and Basket ball final matches were played today, followed by the valedictory function.

The scores gained by each participating school were added up and the school to score the highest with regard to each sport and team performance after which the winner was declared. Dr. Jaisingh Rajwade and Radhika Mehra presented the trophy to the winning teams.

  •  Center Point School, Katol Road beat Centre Point School Wardhaman Nagar by 2-1
  • 1st Singles – Omshree Prasad Beat Keya Panchamatia by 6-1
  • 2nd Singles- Gauri Prasad Lost Riyanshi Kedia
  • Doubles – Omshree Prasad + Gauri Prasad Beat Riyanshi Kedia + Mahek Kanungo by 6-2

U-17 boys final result

  •   Centre Point School Amravati Road Bypass beat Centre Point School Katol Road by 2-1
  •  1st Singles – Tanay Somani Lost Shivansh Tapadiya by 4-6
  •  2nd Singles – Achintya Verma Beat Amay Dhanwatay by 6-1
  •  Doubles – Ranveer singh Renu + Achintya Verma Beat Shivansh Tapadiya + Amay Dhanwatay by 6-0

Best Scorer Taaran Kakkad 25 Points and Kushal Agrawal 10 Points from the Winning Team

Radhika Mehra, Principal, Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, Perveen Cassad, Vice-Principal, Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, Anita Sharma Vice-Principal, Centre Point School, Amravati Road Bypass, along with the Chief Guest Dr. Jaisingh Rajwade were the dignitaries present at the valedictory function. The Chief Guest and Principal, Radhika Mehra gave away the prizes to the winning teams.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and the participants and teams singing the National Anthem. Overall, the event was a huge success.
