Election of the New Managing Committee of the The Institute of Cost Accountants of India – Nagpur Chapter was held at the Duly Convened Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 24th July, 2019 at it’s Nagpur Chapter premises, “CMA Bhawan”, Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur.
The EGM was chaired by CMA Y.P. Sah, Chairman who conducted the proceedings of the meeting by Lighting of the Traditional Lamp & welcomed all the members.
The Chairman Conducted the meeting as per the Agenda of the Meeting, Since the Agenda was only for Election of the New Managing Committee for the term 2019-23 the Chairman requested Returning officer CMA C.T. Deotale to carry out the Election process.
The Returning Officer CMA C.T.Deotale Briefed the Members about the overall Election process right from No. of Members to elected , Filling of Nomination, Withdrawal, it’s scrutiny, & Final list of Valid Nominations and after that he announced the results of the election Since the nominations received were as equal to Managing committee members to be elected.
Total 9 members were declared elected and amongst the elected members following office bearers were elected for the term 2019-23.
The constituted new Managing Committee of ICAI – Nagpur Chapter for the year 2019 – 23 include
CMA Arunasis Basu, Chairman; CMA Anil B. Verma Vice – Chairman; CMA V V S Murty, Secretary; CMA Sameer M. Joshi Treasurer; Managing Committee Members includes: CMA Anan Sahasrabuddhe; CMA Subhashis Banerjee, CMA D.P. Singh, CMA Ashok Behra, CMA Pankaj Bhusari, CMA S.N.Mahankaliwar, Nominee of WIRC, CMA P.S.Patil, Director of Studies.
The Chairman thanked all the members for their presence and concluded the meeting. Prominently present in the EGM were Past President CMA P.V.Bhattad CMA C.T. Deotale, RCM CMA S.N.Mahankaliwar,, CMA G.R.Paliwal, CMA Anan Sahasrabuddhe, CMA K.V.Badwe, CMA Narendra Peshne, CMA Renu Kulkarni, CMA Sonal Bakshi, CMA Malini Singhi, and other CMA members, informs a press release
