Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is taking charge to bring forward the city based researchers in an attempt called Innovation Fest. The festival will be held in mid of august, from 23 to 25. NMC has organized Innovation Fest to provide a stage for the hard working and deserving researchers and innovators from the city.
A dedicated group called “Mayor’s Innovation Council” has also been formed, for which the office is inaugurated on the ground floor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj New Administrative Building of NMC, by the hands of Mayor Nanda Jichkar. Interested candidates can get any further information through the Mayor’s Innovation Council Office.
Candidates dedicated to robotics, acoustical engineering, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering and many other similar branches of research and development are appealed to register themselves for the upcoming festival, by Nanda Jichkar.
Innovation Festival will be held at the Mankapur Sports Stadium Complex. The idea of the festival was brought forth by Mayor, Nanda Jichkar herself for the research developers who are trying hard to make a stand in the business world.
For the inauguration ceremony Assistant Commissioner Manoj Rangari along with mukund Patrikar, Snehal Karpe, Kiran Bagde were present. Besides, Additional Commissioner Ram Joshi and Aziz Khan, convenor, Dr Prashant Kadu, chief co-ordinator, Ketan Mohitkar were also present.
