Super Striker beat Helium 3-1

Nagpur Blues Off to Winning Start | Nagpur Sports News | The Live Nagpur

Super Strikes defeated Helium 3-1 in the ongoing Kusum Sahare Memorial Vidarbha-level Football Tournament organised by AAi Kusum Sahare Foundation and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) at Reshimbagh ground here on Monday.

Vedant Rana scored the goals t in 28th and 35th minutes for Super Strikes. Prior to that Arsh Naang gave the lead to Super Strikes in the 16th minute. For Helium Om Sadavarti struck in the 46th minute but that was too late.

In the second match Pandab Boys defeated Gond Boys 1-0. Thanks to Anand Thakur who scored match-winning goal in the 36th minute. Junior Bezanbagh Friends downed New Boys Football Club 4-2 via tie-breaker.

The score was levelled (1-1) during the regulation time. In the 20th minute, Tanveer Sheikh gave 1-0 lead to New Boys FC. However, his joy was short-lived as three minutes later Montu Karosiya equalised the score through an excellent goal.

A tie-breaker was enforced as both the teams failed to score in the remaining time. Ankit Tambe, Montu Karosiya and Sahil Barde perfectly converted the spit kicks for Junior Bezanbagh. For New Police Boys FC only Aainul Ansari found the net.
