Sim’s Navrang, Bezanbagh enter final

Sim’s Navrang   and  Bezanbagh Senior FC entered the final in the ongoing Aai Kusum Sahare Memorial Vidarbha-level Football Tournament jointly organised by Aai Kusum Foundation and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) at Reshimbagh ground, here on Monday.

Velerian Paul scored three goals as Sim’s Navrang thrashed Comso FC 6-0. Paul drew the first blood in the six minute. Then in the 10th and 12th minute he slammed back to back goal to put Navrang in commanding position. In the 14th minute Steven Machado increased the lead 4-0. Rahul Mundri (21st min) and Yohan Francis (42nd min) scored one goal each to seal the  fate of opponent.

Bezanbagh defeated Harshita FC Gumgaon 1-0. After playing a barren first half, Akshay Singh scored the winning goal for Bezangabh.  Young Warriors achieved the fifth place whereas Time FC finished sixth. Patel Printer and Amma FC secured seventh and eighth place respectively.
Final match will be played on Tuesday whereas the match for third and fourth place will be played between Cosmo FC and Harshita FC.
