The Ryan Group strongly believes that the holistic development of a child’s personality is vital and therefore inculcating athletics and sports skills along with other co-curricular activities is a step towards achieving the same. With the above vision in mind, the 22nd Ryan Minithon was hosted by St. Xavier’s High School, MIDC, Nagpur, wherein 26 schools from the city participated in the event with zeal and vigor in 22nd Ryan Minithon 2019-20.

The Ryan International Sports Club has been vibrant in conducting various sports events throughout the country since 1998. Manned with the experienced professional coaches it plays a catalytic role in helping the children and youth to make their dreams of becoming professional sportspersons come true.

The program commenced with the Reading of Word of God followed by the Prayer. To add colours to the programme the students sang praise and worship songs. Around 5184 students participated in this Mega Event. Flag off was done by Shruti Gandhi, Ronel Michael, Jaya Deo (Handball Player and Chatrapati Award), Anand Chopra Owner Novelty, Mr. Pramod Korde respectively.

The categories for the event were U/12 Boys & Girls U/14 Boys and Girls, U/16 Boys & Girls. The Ryan Minithon Race commenced at 7:30 am and concluded at 8:30 am. The Prize distribution ceremony started with Prayer and Prayer song which kept all the participants mesmerized.

Girish Gandhi (Trustee, Vanrai), Ramesh Bang (Ex. Minister, Leader NCP), Sharad Suryawanshi (Secretary Athletic Association), Malviya (President Athletic Association), Duneshwar Peth (Corporator), Nilesh Khandekar (Secretary, Vanrai), Sarang Upganlawar, M.D. (ICAD), Pankaj Khamankar, Branch Manager, HDFC, Vijay Datarkar, Vijay Muneshwar Arjuna Award graced the dais.

The Programme was a grand success under the guidance of Honorable Chairman Sir Dr. Augustine Francis Pinto, Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto, Administrator, Dr. Nishit Vijayan, and the Principal Mrs. Meenakshi Bhatia and Mrs. Shashibala Dhotekar thanked all the participants for their Zeal and enthusiasm in the race and congratulated all the winners. The event was concluded with a vote of thanks followed by the School Anthem and National anthem.
