Diwali Sales Threat Because of Failing Online Transactions | Nagpur News

The biggest festival in Hindu culture is on its way, the festival where all the new things are welcomed and is celebrated with the fullest. It is the season in which new properties are bought as a token of blessing of Goddess Laxmi.

As the festival of lights is inching closer, the arrangements and preparations can be seen all over the city. People have started buying artifacts in this season of a spendthrift. Even though Diwali upbrings the chances for the businessmen to gain more revenue, this year has seen a downfall in the market.

Due to the online transaction processes, there have been many issues of transactions in which the money is debited from the customers’ bank but has not been received by the shopkeepers. Such transactions have been an issue since the rise in the use of online payment applications like Paytm and Google pay.

Shopkeepers are seen following a total hectic schedule during the Diwali sale and due to which it will become impossible to take a follow up of any particular customer’s online transaction of money, said one of the shopkeepers in Gokulpeth Market.

Nitin Dorlikar, a businessman told TLN, “ I have been using the QR code-based transactions for a while now and in this period I have faced many issues regarding the transaction is incomplete. Sometimes it is also seen that the amount is debited from my account and has not reached the other end. Even after many days, the situation is the same and even my bank has not got a refund after the failed transaction”
