An Interschool Prahar Battle Model making competition was held at The Blind Relief Association Nagpur’s Mundle English Medium School organized by Prahar Military School on 27th Nov. 2019 and the Prize Distribution for the same was held on 30th Nov. 2019. The students of The Blind Relief Association Mundle English Medium School secured IInd position and bagged a trophy, cash prize of Rs. 11,000 and a certificate.
The Battle Model depicted – 1962 Indo-Sino War Battle of Rezang La. The participating students were Vaibhav Avande, Omkar Sathe, Tanaya Diwale, Piyush Shinde, Riya Maske, Gayatri Rothe of Std. IX. Presented the battle model of under the able guidance of mentor teachers Miss. Manjul Mehta, Mrs. Anamika Padhye and Mrs. Reena Kanungo.
The 3D model of 1962 Indo-Sino War Battle of Rezang La was prepared under the able guidance of craft teachers Mrs. Sumedha Patki and Mrs. Rajashree Tiwaskar. The volunteers were students of Std. IX – Vidhi Merguwar, Anuradha Fiske, Shreya Arkatkar, Aneesh Deo, Arya Chinchalkar, Gayatri Rote, Omkar Sathe, Rohit Ugale, Krishna Tifne and Harsh Bali. The judges from Prahar were welcomed by the school band and concluded by playing National Anthem on school band.
Chairman Shri. Makarand Pandharipande Sir, Principal Mrs. Rupali Hingwe, Head Mistress (Primary) Mrs. Megha Padhye, and teachers congratulated the students for their remarkable achievement.
