Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived in the city today. Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport & Highways and Shipping Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium and the new Guardian Minister of Nagpur, Dr Nitin Raut welcomed the Vice president.
Naidu is on a one-day Nagpur tour. The Vice President arrived in a special Air Force aircraft from Hyderabad at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport in Nagpur at 10 am. Mayor Sandip Joshi was also present at the airport.
