Crescendo – Na Rulership! Na Citizenship! Hungry for Friendship, the mega inter-Collegiate youth festival has begun at the sprawling campus of Tirpude Institute ofManagement Education (TIME), on January 30. T.I.M.E has been successfully organizing thisevent for the past 21 years and this edition gets more significance in view of the birth centenary celebrations of founder of Yugantar Education Society, Late NashikraoTirpude.
The institute tries to convey a socially relevant message to the student community by way of a theme. The theme chosen for this year is ‘Crescendo – Na Rulership! Na Citizenship!Hungry for Friendship!’ The sports event was inaugurated in the morning, giving a start to competitions in Cricket, Carom, Chess, Football, Kho-Kho, Tug of War, Kabaddi, Table Tennis,Badminton, PUBG, Volley ball, Arm Wrestling  and Car Racing (Remote).
Dignitaries present on the occasion were Dr. Vivek Awasare, Dr. Sharad Suryawanshi, Piyush Ambulkar, Noel Joseph and Dr. Yogesh Gharpure. Elimination matches were played for various sports and cultural events on day 1. Crescendo has generated an overwhelming response from the student community and over 1800 students from 140 colleges and institutions have participated this year.
Cultural part of the mega event Crescendo will be formally inaugurated today in the evening. During this inauguration ceremony DCP, Nilesh Bharne, DCP, Vinita Sahu and President of Yugantar Education Society, Rajkumar Tirpude, teaching and non-teaching staff and an enthusiastic crowd of young students will also be present.
