Hislop College win team chess championship

Hislop College emerged winners in Bhausaheb Mulak Memorial Inter-College Team (2 Player Team) Chess  Tournament at KDK College of Engineering.

Hislop team comprising  Nilesh Dashrath Bande and Vinod Tiwari scored the highest  6.5 points to win the title. Priydarshini College of Engineering ‘A’ consisting Aditya Kuthe and Gundap Sourabh finished second whereas Sindhu Mahavidyalaya ‘A’ team which was represented by Hrithik Gajbhiye and Shreyash Sahare achieved third place. 

The prizes were distributed at hands of KEKCE vice-principal Dr. AM Badar, chief arbiter of the event Pravin Pantawane and others.  The sports department head of the college of Dr. S. R. Ikhar and sports coordinator Prof.  D Y Ghadge was also present on the occasion.
