On the eve of ‘Marathi Diwas’ which is celebrated on February 27 every year, students of Priyadarshini Nagpur Public School showcased various programmes depicting the richness of Marathi culture.
The event gained momentum with a Marathi song followed by a skit from ‘Shyamchi Aai’ a monthly Marathi edition. Students also presented ‘Kodi’ dance and pledged to keep up the honour of this language.
The Principal Neem Jain and Hindi department head Chitra Puri appreciated the students and briefed them with significance of Marathi language. School Director Sheetal Chaturvedi also applauded the students and congratulated Marathi Department for the success of the event.
