Rules Vanish into Thin Air: Tea stalls, Pan Kiosks in City Openly doing Businsess, No Action from NMC yet

As we know the coronavirus pandemic has created a situation of uncertainty in the world. After the outbreak of this deadly pandemic, the government has declared a lockdown to contain the virus.

This really affected the snacks shops, stores, and roadside vendors like pan kiosks and tea stalls. Recently the civic administration has given relaxations to open some of the shops in the city. However these people are not included in the list and not given permission to do the business.

However, it seems that these people are least bothered about the rules and regulations and not concerned about the health and the safety of the public as they are opening doing the business especially in the morning hours. Even though they are doing business openly, the apathy of the civic administration making things worse. In other words, they are encouraging the business by not taking strict action against them.

The callous attitude of the civic authority is really alarming because every day the COVID-19 positive cases are increasing in the city. Amid this dangerous situation, if the administration does not take stringent measures to stop all these activities it will pose a huge threat to the safety of our citizens.
