In a horrific accident, four persons were killed on the spot and three others were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a container and a car near Nagthana, Murtijapur on National Highway No. 6 this afternoon.
According to the sources, a Honda City car (MH 04 BW 5259) traveling from Nagpur to Mumbai was hit by a container (MH 15 FV 1413) en route to Amravati when the horrific accident occurred on NH 6. The impact of the collision was so severe that everyone in the car was thrown out and the front portion of the car was completely damaged.
The deceased include husband, wife and their two children. Four of them ​​died on the spot. The injured were identified as Hussein Ghulam Hussain (50), Sabia Hussain Habib (30) and Hussain Habib Mohammad Habib (35). They sustained critical injuries and are admitted to Laxmibai Deshmukh Hospital, Murtijapur, for treatment.
