Laxity and negligence, Corona positive patients face difficulties in govt medical hospital

Civic authorities have been informing citizens about their readiness and facilities given to the patients who are admitted in various intuitions are said to be getting the best medical facilities but it seems like this is not true.

One who gets infected by the deadly virus puts much faith in the doctor while getting treatment but if one does not get the promised facility while putting so much faith in the health centers then one usually goes in dilemma and loses faith in them.

Since the pandemic, there were many incidents exposing the quality of services given to COVID-19 patients in different parts of the country.

A video that was recently shot by the staff members of Bombay Medical Store who are receiving treatment in Ward no 11 of Government Medical Hospital, Nagpur after testing positive with COVID-19, stated to be ignored and not getting the said facility.

In the video people are complaining about the poor quality of food they have been receiving over the last couple of days, stating that such services will not help us in getting better and fighting with the virus.

The hospital fails to provide basic facilities such as water and the toilets are in worse condition. These patients are also demanding to be sent home if the situation does not improve.

The patients who are supposed to get treatment for 14 days are facing a tough time due to the constant ignorance even after complaining and bringing the matter to the attention of the official authorities.
