Deva Usare, Ex-Congress Party Corporator from Mohan Nagar was murdered on Sunday morning around 8:30 am in front of Bharat Talkies, Near LIC Square, Kamptee Road by two unidentified masked assailants.
According the primary information, two unidentified youths with an axe approached toward Usare when he was standing alone at a tea stall in front of Bharat talkies. The accused stabbed multiple times and fled from the spot.
Some locals saw Usare lying in the pool of blood and immediately informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and sent Usare to Government Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have registers a case of murder and started search for the assailants.
