In view of the situation, NVCC and NCCL jointly called for Nagpur bandh on August 19.As per information, no business establishments will be opened on that particular day.

NVCC president Ashwin Mehadia and NCCL president Vishnu Kumar Pacheriwala said that the traders of the city are fighting against the odds in lockdown and unlock. In the other cities, the order to open the market on the odd-even day pattern has been cancelled.

But the system continues in Nagpur.Similarly, the NMC commissioner has issued an order for taking trade licence from NMC for doing business in the city. In view of this situation, traders are demanding to cancel all these orders and to highlight their demands, they will observe complete bandh on August 19.Meanwhile, and a delegation of the NVCC met guardian minister Nitin Raut and handed him over a memorandum of their demands. The demands include odd-even day pattern should be discontinued in the city. Protest arbitrariness of NMC administration. Order to get trade license from NMC is cancelled. Compulsory Covid test for traders and their employees should end.
