Elite Dancer’s & Choreographer’s Association staged silent protest requesting to restart the classes

Since the past 5 months, many businesses are shut due to pandemic, cinema halls, indoor gyms, dance clubs, swimming pools all are suffering a major loss due to the restriction imposed by the government.
Elite Dancer’s & Choreographer’s Association did silent protest on behalf of all the dancers, choreographers & dance class tutors of Nagpur requesting the government to allow us to start our dance classes in Vidarbha region starting it, will be helpful for the survival of our families.

The group in their silent protest at Savidhan Square urged civic authorities to allow them to reopen the dance classes as the lockdown is causing a huge loss as we don’t come under any scheme or policy of the government or under any loan facility schemes so how to survive without earning & now it’s more than 3 months.
1. How to survive without earning?
2. What about our families?
We also assure that we will follow all the norms and abide by all the rules and regulations of COVID-19 which comes under the guidelines of Maharashtra & Indian Government.
A written application (request letter) to Collector Nagpur and Commissioner NMC Nagpur was also submitted by the group.
The total number of positive cases has surpassed 16k mark on Wednesday thus making the biggest jump of single day COVID-19 positive patients to 1096 in the city.
