NEET JEE exam- Congress to hold nationwide protest, 7 CMs to file petition to postpone exam

National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exams 2020 on the set date. This has created a spark among students as the country is still under the effect of the virus and with cases rapidly increasing in the country parents are concerned for the health of their children.
The National Testing Agency released the admit card of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) On August 26.

Now as the exam dates are near many political leaders are trying hard to postpone the exams as the condition is not favourable to conduct it. Recently in a joint meeting held by Congress chief Sonia Gandhi while CMs of Punjab, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Puducherry, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, West Bengal came together and decided to file a petition in Supreme Court seeking to postpone the NEET and JEE exam in the country till the situation is under control.
The Hon’ble Supreme Court has also, inter alia, ordered that “We find that there is absolutely no justification in the prayer made for postponement of the examination in question relating to NEET UG-2020 as well as JEE (Main) April, 2020.”
The Congress on Wednesday announced it will hold protests across the country on Friday against the centre’s move to push ahead with all-India entrance exams for engineering and medical courses amid the coronavirus crisis.
