Recently Aarti Yogesh Khandelwal, a known rangoli artist of the city fulfilled the dream of her son by registering a world record by making a 1,800 sq ft. Rangoli of Lord Ganesh. Aarti prepared 351 forms of Lord Ganesha to make that huge Rangoli. She made this Rangoli at Shri Rani Sati Mandir in Nandanvan.
“My son Kaushal encouraged me to prepare this rangoli as a respect to COVID warriors who are working hard amid this pandemic situation.†Aarti is known for her beautiful rangolies and she actively prepares rangolis on different occasions. After getting encouragement from son, Aarti decided to make a world record by preparing a huge rangoli. “It took four days to prepare the rangoli and the every member of the mandir trust encouraged me to make this rangoli,†she added. Aarti registered this achievement in Asia Book of Records. She is a parenting coach and trained many parents about good parenting in the city and other parts of the country. Aarti’s son Kaushal also accepted a challenge to learn 201 ‘Mantras’ of Lord Ganesh when she will prepare the Rangoli. Kaushal successfully learned all 201 Mantras and recited them all during a small event in the Mandir premises.
