Amravati Municipal Corporation has launched a website homeisolationMT.com for home isolation of people showing mild symptoms of coronavirus to ensure better health facility to the patient and majorly to avoid second wave of the virus in the district.t
The website has been prepared by AMC with the initiative and efforts of Veterinary Officer from AMC, Dr Sachin Bondre. The website will make the home isolation process more easy and also will speed-up the process.
While interacting with the media AMC Commissioner Prashant Rode said that the corporation has been allotting permission of treatment under home isolation for the asymptomatic or lesser symptoms corona patients for proper care and treatment of corona patients during crisis.
A cell led by Dr Sachin Bondre has been formed for home isolation process at AMC. While facility to provide prop- er guidance and treatment to the home isolated patients is being available through the cell. Treatment of over 2300 patients under this facility has been made at Amravati. Not a single causal- ity has been reported among the home isolation patients at Amravati, informed Rode.
The home isolation facility has been started as per government instruction for making available beds at Covid Hospitals to the severely ill Covid-19 patients. To speed up the home isolation facility to maximum patients through the website, informed Rode
Earlier, patients used to required various certificates and necessary permissions for home isolation. But now the time , money and efforts will be saved with the use of the website, Rode added.
