Advocate Ketki Joshi has been given the additional charge of the post of government lawyer and public prosecutor in the Nagpur Bench of Bombay High Court.The order has been issued in this regard on behalf of the department of law and justice on Wednesday. The tenure of the previous public prosecutor Adv Sumant Devpujari ended on March 31, 2020.
After this, due to the Covid pandemic, Devpujari’s term was extended till the next order. He was relieved from work under an order issued on Wednesday.Devpujari was appointed to the post of government advocate on September 22,2017.On the other hand,Adv Ketki Joshi is an assistant government lawyer and additional public prosecutor in the High Court.
