Private schools forcibly taking exam to recover fees alleged Sandeep Agrawal

Since the pandemic broke in the country efforts have been made to curb the spread of the virus. As the country is under the grip of the second wave of the COVID-19 virus the situation is gruesome following which many states had decided to either postpone or cancel the board’s exams for the academic year 2020-21.

Even though the Maharashtra State government recently decided to cancel CBSE class 10th board’s exam and postponed Class 12th exams many private schools in the city are not following order.

After the rapid surge in Maharashtra the government has already canceled the examinations till class 10, all the children are given the next class, and the order to promote students has already been issued by the government despite all this school misinterpreted government orders just to collect fees.

Agrawal informed that many private schools took the examinations today and the children who failed to deposit fees were not allowed to appear in the online exams. This is a violation of the Right to Education and is contrary to all government orders. Agrawal requested that the education department must intervene and take immediate action against such schools.
