With 332,730 cases India again broke its one record on April 23 to become the only country for the second consecutive day to record a spurt in daily COVID-19 cases in the world adding woe to the problems.
In another grim record, 2,104 Covid deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 186,920 making it the worst man-made disaster of the 21st century.
India’s total Active Caseload reached 24,28,616 today; comprises 14.93% of the total Positive Cases. A net incline of 1,37,188 cases recorded from the total active caseload the last 24 hours.
While 7 States/UTs D&D & D&N, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Lakshadweep, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh report No death in the last 24 hours.
Apart from daily rise in the cases more than 1.93 Lakh Recoveries in the last 24 hours.
