Monday brought some good news for the people of Nagpur district. Today, the district witnessed new COVID-19 cases below 1000 drastic reduction in
deaths, and recovery rate continues to improve each day.
The district has registered 482 fresh cases today which is all time low count in a single day and first time during the second wave. The cumulative positive cases reached 4,71,541.
Meanwhile, in the day the district registered less than 30 death cases as 29 persons lost their battle with the dreaded COVID virus. The cumulative of fatalities rose to 8797.
Today, 482 persons tested positive for coronavirus in the district of which 246 persons are the residents of the city and 227 are from rural area.
From the total deaths today, 12 were the residents of city while 8 were reported from Nagpur rural areas.
Constant rise in COVID-19 recoveries led to increase in the recovery rate. Also it has an impact on the active cases which have gone further down to 12384. The recovery rate further improved to 95.51%.
Today 2003 persons became corona-free taking the cumulative recovery to 4,50,360.
