Centre Point Group of Schools & Mother’s Pet Kindergarten announce a Strategic Partnership with Lighthouse Learning

Centre Point Group of Schools and Mother’s Pet Kindergarten , Nagpur’s leading education group, today announced a partnership with Lighthouse Learning (formerly known as EuroKids International), India’s leading education services provider backed by global investment firm KKR. This partnership will enable Centre Point to expand its reach and ideology through Lighthouse Learnings network of educational institutions.

Centre Point was founded in 1979 with the first Mother’ Pet preschool, followed by the launch of the K-12 Centre Point Schools in 1988. They added an international school affiliated to the Cambridge International board in 2018.  Today, the Group operates four reputed preschools and four highly regarded K-12 institutions in Nagpur. The K-12 schools have also consistently achieved outstanding results in the CBSE Board Examinations and are proud recipients of the ‘International School Award’ by the British Council. Collectively, the Group serves around 8,000 students across its network.

This partnership with Centre Point marks Lighthouse Learning’s entry into Nagpur and further expands the Group’s existing portfolio of 38 K-12 schools and 1200+ Preschools across India, which includes EuroKids, Kangaroo Kids Pre-Schools, EuroSchool and Billabong High International Schools.

Mrs. Aruna Upadhyaya has been mentoring her daughter, Mrs. Radhika Rajwade, to eventually take over the reins of the Centre Point Group. Mrs. Rajwade joined The Group in 2011 and currently oversees day to day operations of both the K-12 schools and preschools. Mrs. Rajwade has two Masters Degrees in Education Management & Early Childhood Education from King’s College London & University of Surrey respectively. She also has an MA in English Literature and a B.Ed. She has been crucial in revamping the pedagogy of the schools to meet global education standards through her international experience in the UK & USA. Mrs. Upadhyaya has decided to retire and hand over the reins of the group to Mrs. Rajwade.

Mrs Radhika Rajwade, Director, Centre Point Group of Schools, said “ I came back from USA in 2011 with a vision to grow the Centre Point Group of Schools beyond Nagpur and implement best practices, curriculum and learnings the I gained through my education and work experience abroad. I am very excited that this partnership will ensure the same”.
