Unlock retail shops from June 1

Ex Cabinet Minister Dr. Anees Ahmed today met Nitin Raut Nagpur Guardian Minister and demanded business activities in Nagpur region must be permitted from June 1.

Anees said   traders are in deep distress  due to lockdown and most of the businesses are about to shut.

Ahmed said today traders have slipped into depression and their future is uncertain.

Ahmed said, now recovery rate in Nagpur district is improving day by day, so business activities must be permitted.

He also stressed once permission is granted to open shops  no capping in hours of business nor odd even rule must be implemented as it would lead to over crowding. Normal hours of business must be restored.

Dr. Anees Ahmed explained that with onset of  rainy season the  stock dumped in the shops of small traders from last three month may spoil, due to moisture.

Anees also said that due to the last three months lockdown, traders are unable to pay their staff. The staff is also facing financial crises. “Employees are facing grave like situation. Its duty of the Government to declare relief package for the traders, so that they can come out of the situation. Traders must also be allowed to do business at any cost now

Ahmed reiterated that  the Government runs on the tax paid by the traders. “If the business is closed, from where the trader will pay the tax?”

Anees Ahmed also  demanded  relief package for the trading community.

He even demanded Nitin Raut in capacity of Power Minister to give concessions in electricity bill and to give more time to the citizens to pay bill and no late fine must be imposed.
